The Tulip Day festival in San Francisco's Union Square is a free event where visitors can pick their own tulips. The festival is held annually in the spring when tulips are in bloom
This event marks the beginning of "Union Square in Bloom," a celebration that continues from March through September 2025, featuring floral displays, community events, and special promotions throughout the district
Point Bonita is a short, scenic walk along a dramatic, rocky coast to a promontory with a tiny lighthouse. It’s a popular destination; although not nearly as busy as the nearby Conzelman Road, during the few hours each week when it’s is actually open there’s a continuous stream of people on the trail
The journey continues with us visiting the Japantown of San Francisco. At Japantown, you can enjoy the distinguish Japanese cuisine from various restaurants such as the famous Ramen dish or the Matcha drink. You can also have a chance to shop Japanese goods that are usually hard to find but are vary here at different stores, and especially the Japan Center Malls.
The Marina is a popular venue for many annual events such as the Fleet Week celebration (with the Blue Angels performing air shows over the bay), sailing regattas and various cultural festivals. And this is also where the boat racing event takes place.
On the journey to San Francisco, we'll make a stop at a scenic look-out point with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge where you can snap some keepsake photos of Marin Headlands.
The Palace of Fine Arts is a monumental structure located in the Marina District of San Francisco, California, originally built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition to exhibit works of art. It was constructed of plaster and wood and later replicated and replaced with a concrete and steel version we see today
Designed to look like a classical Roman-style rotunda, the Palace of Fine Arts looks amazing and has incredibly impressive architecture. It can be a peaceful place to enjoy nature
