Following the annual tradition of the Vietnamese people, this year, ThanhTravels will organize a visit to these temples on the second day of Tết. Visitors will visit the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas (Chinese: 萬佛聖城) is an international Buddhist community and monastery founded in 1976, by Venerable Master Tuyen Hoa , an important figure of Western Buddhism. Located in the rural California community of Talmage, 110 miles (180 km) north of San Francisco, it was one of the first Zen temples in the United States, and one of the largest Buddhist communities in the world, largest church in the Western Hemisphere. The temple is noted for its strict adherence to vinaya, a traditional Buddhist principle in the direction of asceticism.
We will also visit Tam Tu Buddhist Temple, located in Santa Ana, California, is a revered center for Vietnamese Buddhist practice and community involvement. Embracing a tranquil environment and traditional Vietnamese architectural elegance, the temple serves as a place for meditation, spiritual development, and cultural gatherings. It stands as a beloved institution, promoting unity and reverence among the local Vietnamese-American community while preserving the profound traditions of Buddhism.
