Carnival Miracle takes you to another world, we mean that in every sense. Not only does this ship visit stunning destinations, but it features incredible onboard spaces inspired by elements of fantasy. Guests can take in a show at the Phantom Lounge, a drink at Odyssey Bar or a dance at Dr. Frankenstein’s Lab. They can also get lost in a song by finding their way to Sam’s Piano Bar. And when hunger strikes, they’ll find great food all over the place, from the casual fare of Horatio’s to the artful eats of the Bacchus and Ariadne dining rooms… not to mention the world-class cuts at Nick & Nora’s Steakhouse.
This is your chance to relax and enjoy your cruise. Enjoy holidays filled with leisure & relaxation on a Luxurious Miracle. Feel like in the floating city and a small Las Vegas in the big sea with multi activities such as hotel, unlimited meal, swimming pool, kid club, theater, stage, parade, comedy, music, bar, wet & dry sauna, gym, golf, ping-pong, art, raffle, shopping, photograph, casino, of course, etc...
Icy Strait Point is a privately owned tourist destination just outside the small village of Hoonah, Alaska. It is located on Chichagof Island and is named after the nearby Icy Strait. Owned by Huna Totem Corporation, it is the only privately owned cruise destination in Alaska, as most stops are owned by the cities in which they are located. Huna Totem Corporation is owned by approximately 1,350 Alaskan Natives with aboriginal ties to Hoonah and the Glacier Bay area. Many of them are of the Tlingit people.
Juneau's majestic sprawl and abundance of nature set it apart from most capital cities in America. Tourists arrive via air or water, many coming in on cruise ships. Sea kayaking, humpback whale watching, dog sledding and gazing at Mount Juneau are just some of the activities Juneau has on offer. Ride the Mount Roberts Tramway, see Mendenhall Glacier, and walk the vibrant downtown area, where restaurants and historic saloons beckon wanderers in from the cold. Annual events in Juneau include Gold Rush Days, the Alaska Folk Festival, Golden North Salmon Derby, and Juneau Maritime Festival.
The Tracy Arm Fjord lies about 45 miles south of downtown Juneau and is only accessed via boat or float plane, making the “getting there” aspect all part of the adventure, but well worth the effort. The term “fjord” means a long, narrow deep water inlet surrounded by towering cliffs and the Tracy Arm Fjord is a stunning example. You’ll also be privy to one-of-kind 1,000 foot waterfalls, floating glaciers, marine and terrestrial wildlife, and snow-topped mountains.
Ketchikan, Alaska, a favorite for many cruise-goers and tourists, is a charming city located near the state’s southeastern edge. A well-traveled fishing destination first used by Alaska natives, including the Haida, Tlingit, and Tsimshian peoples, Ketchikan became an important commercial hub for international fishing operations in the nineteenth century. The city has embraced its nickname, “The Salmon Capital of the World,” and remains a popular site for commercial and sport fishing alike.
A plethora of totem poles, crafted by Native Alaskans, have been preserved by the city and comprise the largest collection of totem poles in Alaska. Visitors will spot totem poles while exploring the city’s waterfront and main streets, but most are housed in Saxman Village or the Totem Heritage Center. Shopping, culture, and history abound in downtown Ketchikan, where art galleries, seafood restaurants, and the historic Creek Street are merely a short walk away. The pier is home to specialty shops, galleries and boutiques. But be sure to wander downtown Ketchikan for local finds like authentic Alaskan art, Native crafts, furs and jewelry.
Nature lovers will delight in the abundant natural areas that surround the city. A quick boat ride or flight provides stunning views of the alluring and majestic beauty of the Misty Fjords National Monument. The nearby Tongass National Forest boasts spectacular wildlife, which can be seen on hikes through Eagle Creek and the Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary.
British influences are quite evident in Victoria, from afternoon tea times to elegant Victorian architecture. This capital of British Columbia on Vancouver Island provides ample outdoor recreation, with its public parks and access to both the ocean and wilderness. Cyclists will be right at home here, as Victoria boasts a seemingly endless number of bike paths for exploring. Additional must-do's here include tours of Craigdarroch Castle and Fisherman's Wharf Park, a floating pier where tourists can eat and watch seals. Another excellent option is the Royal BC Museum, a natural and human history complex holding 7 million objects.
